Introduction

Dear guest,

I welcome you to the world of Connekt at booth 02.210 during Intertraffic, where government, knowledge partners, and industry come together to shape a sustainable mobility future. Hall 2 will come alive with the collaborative efforts of Connekt (ITS Netherlands) and the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area as they showcase Dutch expertise in global mobility within the “Dutch Area.”

Our Connekt Pavilion at Intertraffic is more than just a booth, it’s a hub of innovation, focusing on themes such as digitalization and CCAM, and featuring insights from leading members of the mobility revolution. Organizations including BUKO, CROW, EIT Urban Mobility, Goudappel, Haskoning, MAPtm, NDW/NTM/NWB/ DSM, Rijkswaterstaat, Technolution, and TripService will be sharing their expertise, creating an experience rich in knowledge and inspiration.

This year, for the second time, we are joined by our international sister organizations, united in the ITS Nationals Network. Their pavilion is located next to Connekt’s, with the Nordic+ countries and ITS UK also close by – bringing Europe within just a few steps.

Join us at booth 02.210 for an exhibition and a personalized exploration of what makes Connekt and its members the driving force in shaping the future of mobility. I look forward to sharing this journey with you at Intertraffic 2026.

Warm regards,

Marc Verhage

It ensures the connections between the network and the representation of some of them at the Intertraffic stand space next to the Connekt pavilion.

Booth 02.200

The Metropolitan Region Amsterdam (MRA)

The Metropolitan Region (MRA), known in Dutch as Metropoolregio Amsterdam (MRA), is comprised of 30 municipalities, two provinces (North Holland and Flevoland) and the Transport Authority Amsterdam. Around 2.5 million people – more than 14 per cent of the Dutch population – live within the MRA. It is the country’s most robust economic region and the MRA also performs well on the international stage. MRA also faces challenges in areas such as housing and climate. These influence the way we organize mobility. Therefore, road authorities work closely together on smart mobility solutions in operational traffic and public-private partnerships with the industry and knowledge institutions.
