Why are you participating in the Connekt Pavilion?
Traffic Management is in the middle of a transformation. Where traditionally the focus of cities was on reducing vehicle delay hours  and on maximizing traffic throughput, we now see the transformation to also manage quality of life and sustainability.

ICT TriOpSys has developed a unique Smart City Platform which allows management of multi-modal traffic and balances that with quality of life and sustainability aspects. The solution is already being implemented for the city of Utrecht.

Our presence at Intertraffic and the Connekt Pavilion is aimed at sharing knowledge, strengthening partnerships, and showcasing our smart solutions. By doing so, other cities can also benefit from these innovations and enhance urban mobility, sustainability, and quality of life.

What is your proposition at the exhibition?
Smart City Control: Dynamic Traffic Management – Open Platform.
At Intertraffic we want to showcase our state of the art multimodal traffic management solution, which is being implemented in the city of Utrecht. The platform is not only a Traffic Management platform. It’s a platform which can manage any kind of city parameter and focus on quality of life in the broadest sense.

The platform is an open platform, works with mostly open data and can operate across organization boundaries, combines any kind of open data and can interconnect cities, road owners and even countries.

Who is your message intended for?
Our message is aimed at municipalities, provinces, and mobility partners, as well as international delegations involved in urban transition and smart city solutions.

What topics will you highlight?

• Smart City Control – managing all aspects that determine quality of life and mobility in a city and doing so with an open platform.

• Dynamic Traffic Management – Open Platform – showcasing the open platform approach which allows multiple cities and road owners to cooperate in managing cities, managing well-being and managing multi-modal traffic.

Through concrete examples, we demonstrate how design, monitoring and evaluation help translate policy ambitions into sustainable and future proof mobility solutions.

Who is your story intended for?
Our story is primarily aimed at local and regional authorities. At the same time, we share a strong international perspective, particularly in the field of Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning and integrated mobility policy.

What is your proposition at the exhibition?
We improve the experience of inconvenience for local residents and road users during (road)works. We do this by combining our expertise in temporary traffic situations with the digital world. Wherever possible, we aim to provide fully digital information around (road)works, and physical information where necessary. This approach is driven by a data-led organisation, grounded in behavioural science, data and AI.
